Koji Ono, Srivastava, Hiroyuki Fukui win Indo-Nippon Golf Cup 2012
Pooja Batra, Neelam Pratap Rudy bag Ladies Division

MANESAR, Dec 9: It was a beautiful sunny day of a cold winter Sunday morning.
A perfect weather for the start of the 7th Indo-Nippon Golf Cup 2012-13 where top executives of Indian and Japanese compete in the environment of friendship and business harmony.
As many as 110 golfers from India and Japan teed off at the Golden Green Resort near the Capital city of Delhi.
While Koji Ono bagged the Formula Group Trophy for Best Score (Nett), the winner from the Indian side for the Best Score (Nett) was S.N Srivastava.
The DMIDC Trophy for the Best Score (Gross) was won by Japanese Golfer Hiroyuki Fukui.
The winner (Nett) Ladies Division was Pooja Batra and winner (Gross) Ladies Division was Neelam Pratap Rudy.
Martin Hawtree designed Golden Green Resort places golfers to challenge in its strategic bunkers and blankets of grass along both sides of the fairways.
In a competitive game, the annual Indo-Nippon Golf Cup gives both Indian and Japanese golfers ample opportunities to network and grow businesses mutually, said Rahul Sharma, Founder and President of the Indo Nippon Golf Tournament.
The event is supported by the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII).
The pre-event dinner party was held at the Delhi Golf Club and the guest list included beauty expert Shahnaz Husain, disigner Jyoti Sharma.

Rahul Sharma said the Indo Nippon Golf Cup was first held in 2006 and since then it has been an annual event.
It is held with the objective to develop and enhance social and economic relations between the business persons of Japan and India.
The tournament annually decides the cause and purpose with the JCCII, added Rahul Sharma.
Both Japanese and Indian players had come with the intention to win prizes. While Koji Ono came closest to the pin from the Japanese side, the Indian golfer Dr Srish Mishra bagged this honour.
Indian golfer Anand Dalal won appreciation for many for the longest drive of 355 yards.
Miss Noyanika Arora, a photographer and Class 12 Student of Carmel Convent School, New Delhi, was honoured with an award of the Goodwill Ambassador Photography of Indo-Nippon Golf Cup by the President of Indo-Nippon Golf Tournament, Mr Rahul Sharma, for promoting India-Japan friendship through her photography and for excellent coverage of the Indo-Nippon Golf Cup for several years.
